Andy Hoshino in Japan has just bought this fantastic B20 pick up. It’s an ex-fire service vehicle hence the colour and the red lights on the front. But the best bit…It has just 9800km’s on the clock!!! Arrrgh! I’m soooo jealous! As some who know me will already know, I’m a bit partial to B10 series Sunnys in any form but a pickup is most desirable. At least I have my wagon to keep me happy.

Another interesting Datsun has just re-appeared recently. This 1200 coupe is reputedly what remains of the original Janspeed built 1200 that won it’s class in the Dutch Touring Car championship in both ‘74 ans ‘75 with Han Tjan at the helm. Although the car has been re-shelled at some point, most of the original equipment is still there including a unique rack and pinion steering conversion! The arch flares have changed and the front airdam has gone but is it the same car? More pics etc after the jump…

Juhani Halmeenmaki has located this super rare Prince Clipper truck (model AQTI) in Finland. This one has languished, abandoned for 20 years, Long enough for the rear end to sink into the ground! It was owned by a gypsy who transported horses with it. Juhani says this is probably the last Clipper in Finland. The vehicle has now been stripped of any useful parts which will be passed to Svein-Erik Finnerud in Norway to help with the restoration of his own Prince Clipper.

A friend of mine recently spotted this E10 Cherry wagon abandoned in the corner of a car sales yard. I went to investigate and it appears to be in fairly good condition and certainly worth saving. So far efforts to find the owner have drawn a blank, unfortunately. E10 wagons are pretty rare now so it would be nice to save this one.
